mate I’ve got an adjustible spanner on the nut and pliers on the valve.
I’m trying to turn the nut anti-clockways as I am looking down on it.
I managed to get 2 other ones off my basin but this one is particularly hard as there is very little space.
If mains is off no flood....I have tried the nut BELOW the valve, perhaps I will try that

Pliers will not do, another adjustable spanner or set of long grips is needed. And the spanner needs to be 8/9 inches length.
Basiically longer spanners give more leverage .
