Sealing sandstone internally

Ha Ha! Are you related to elephants?

Well... I'm sat here going through in my mind what I finally did.
I ended up framing every external wall and the party-wall, then putting cellotex insulation boards between.
Then plasterboard screwed to the frame.
The one wall I did dot and dab was the party-wall staircase. I was limited for space.
I used SBR on the stonework first.
Still there!
Took me 2 years to get it to a state we could move into, then another 2 years to finish.
One man band as I said.
But I did everything, which was something I'd never contemplated before.
I wasn't bad at DIY but this was another level.
Now, I feel a bit smug when I look around and know I did everything you can see and everything you can't see.
(Except the rendering on part of the house).
And I had a LOT of help from various members on the different forums here.
So a big big thank you to one and all.

Kind regards,
john
