What have you been doing today?

Went to work, wired a control panel for a boiler that's not gonna arrive for 2 months due to some little bug that's going around.
rinse & repeat tomorrow.

With the number of times I'm washing my hands now, they are getting very dried and cracked.
I use cream several times a day (stops typing to do it while I remember).

.
rub, rub, rub.

Using alcohol hand wash stings like heck now... :)

O'Keeffe cream is a bit expensive but very good and much better than using a cheap brand.
My hands started getting dry and scaly a few months back so my wife bought me a tub of O'Keeffes 'Working Hands' and within a few days my hands were great.
After sanitising my hands I wait about an hour, (if I am back at home and not potentially coming into contact with anyone), and use a bit of cream. We use the 70% alcohol sanitiser and doesn't sting when I use it.

Well, my wife had dragged out a pair of vacuum packed bags with my summer clothes in and told me to go through them making two piles. One pile that fits me and one pile I will need to slim into. T shirts, short sleeve shirts, polo shirts and shorts. The 'slim into' pile outnumbers the 'fits me' pile by about 4 to 1. They must’ve shrunk in storage.

Tell her they have had all the elasticity sucked out of them when she packed them.

Done a bit of gardening, had breakfast on the patio and spent around 2 hours in the spa watching the clouds go by and a few gliders being towed airborne.
Now sitting down with an after lunch beer. (Well it is a Bank Holiday). :)

Me too, but as my wife mentioned it was BH it would be rude not to take advantage of it. :)

I’ve been trying to lure my missus upstairs for a bit of nookie but she is having non of it.

So far.

Furlough time - passing no. 12: sharpening my kitchen knives, in the garage, on my oil stone (normally reserved for wood chisels! )

Much better result than the steel I normally use.....
