How To Choose Circlip Pliars?

Have worked out I need Circlip pliars for a clip on the lockout of my bike's suspension forks. The two holes are about 8mm apart. How do I know which pliers to buy? I think I need the 90 degree ones, but which size? I don't want a whole set of them, as sold on Ebay. And I prefer to buy better quality as well.

Internal or external circlip... ? I suppose that doesn't really matter as the answer would still be I don't know.

Don't go for the type where you can switch the whole jaw - they are worse than useless.

Does the circlip fit around a shaft/rod or does it sit inside a tube?
If it sits outside then you need a set of external pliers, inside a tube you obviously need an internal set.
These have both internal and external and not bad for the price.

Get a set, all versions covered then. Straight and angled, internal and external.
