Hi folks, been trying to keep myself busy rather than going mad while furloughed, and decided to convert our shed into a summerhouse for the family.

Initially took one whole side off and levelled one side of the roof and left it open, which was nice until that spell of bad winds and rain came along.

So I built a frame around the opening using some 63x38 CLS so it's nice and solid, then built 2 doors that open fully to still allow for a fully open front of the summer house.

One door is actually 2 doors (think bi-fold), to allow for it to get past a raised bed when opening. However what I'm finding is that the weight of the 2 doors is pulling them down at the unsupported end so it runs out of line when it connects to the other side.

All doors are hinged with butt hinges.

I had considered trying to get hold of sliding door fixings and hang the unsupported end of the door from the top of the frame, but also wondered if a different type of hinge would help support things better and wondered what the experts thought. Other than that I should have planned it better, obviously

Hope that makes sense.

Cheers.
