Hi,

Being a man I cannot tell if my hallway colour scheme looks any good!

Would like some opinions please

I have a minton floor that I am trying to incorporate, but I am not sure how it looks with my newly painted grey walls.

I really would like to avoid painting the big stair wall again if possible, but perhaps have the opposite side wall a different colour?

Don't know about colours, but the preparation of the original paint job isn't very good.

Those gaps under the picture rail, round the architrave and I think on top of the skirting board need filling with a paintable decorators caulk.

The bits that have been filled particularly on the skirting board aren't very seamless either.

You need to ask some women then - and I don’t think there are many here.

My girlfriend doesn’t like the stair carpet or the lampshade and says “white or grey” for the walls or pick a colour from the tiles and use something based on that.

I do like the tiles BTW.
