Hi all,

just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for what the Best product would be to restore UPVC windows? I have just moved into a new house and the windows don’t appear to have been cleaned for a long time. When wiped down they appear a little dull. Unfortunately replacement will have to wait as there are other areas needing the money more. I would like to try and make them cleaner and possibly shine a little more.

I have tried no nonsense UPVC cleaner and haven’t really been impressed by its cleaning abilities vs normal washing up liquid. I have seen Thompson’s UPVC restorer about - any recommendations? Can UPVC be polished up at all with a mild abrasive that breaks down (like vehicle paintwork/plastics can)? Someone mentioned the big pink cleaning paste is good. I know to keep clear from bleach!

many thanks

That’s all you need . It has cleaned the upvc right through the house, the glass, the patio flags, the oven and virtually everything else and it’s cheap. Hope this helps.
