‘How will I know if someone rings me from track & trace & tells me to isolate, that they are genuine’ John from Gloucester.

Jenny Harries, deputy CMO: ‘It will be very obvious. These are professionally trained individuals. It will be evident from how they speak.’

Jenny Harries really is a shill.

This has the potential to be open up to fraud.

I've got a good voice. I see a new career opening up....

You'd be surprised. Some people do this kind of siht because they are ****ed up in the head and enjoy pssiing other people off.
Same as why people unleash computer viruses, not necessarily for any kind of financial gain.

Put the phone down.
Why would you take instructions from an unknown individual over the phone?

It's being run by Serco

What could possibly go wrong?

"For an idea of how contact tracing works best, look to Germany. When interviewed about the country’s successful contact-tracing programme recently on Newsnight, the German minister of health described how the response had worked through the country’s federal structures and with the 400 different “communities” that are responsible for the track and trace system.

England, on the other hand, started by pursuing a call-centre model run by Serco and staffed with customer service employees paid just above minimum wage. Recruitment agencies tasked with finding contact tracers are reportedly offering an hourly wage of £8.72 to staff with experience of “telephone or face-to-face customer services”

so, someone phones up and tells you that you may have been infected, therefor there is a chance you may be dead in 4 or 5 weeks. Are you really supposed to go and hide in your bedroom and miss your last few days of good health!

So you think running around infecting as many others as you can, is the thing to do???

Your post beggars belief.
where did I say I was going to do that - think I would be considering heading off to somewhere I love, which by and large are places where there are no other people. But my comment was not about me, how many others who would think. 5 or 6 weeks left to live....

anyway it is highly unlikely I would be contacted, I don't have a smart phone and keep as far away from others as possible (and that was before this years lock down), and I will certainly be avoiding like the plague any situation where I would be within 2m of someone else for 15minutes.

If someone rings me up purporting to be from the bank etc. then I ask them to go through some security questions before I will talk to them.

That stumps them!

I had Orange chasing me for weeks, kept calling back and not getting past the security questions. lol

If I failed a CV-19 test I would more likely inform the family/friends/work colleagues myself, rather than wait for a faceless call centre to call them.

But wouldn't one would sign up for this sort of shoite, with the intention of "taking instructions from an unknown individual over the phone "?
