Surely a set of OE from a Kia dealer is the safest route? Logic says cheaper parts on brakes, is a bit questionable.;)

Installed Juratek (to experiment) front pads/discs on a Bora TDI yesterday. I'm not impressed.
The pad prongs are too flimsy and I had trouble getting the calipers back into position.

My choice is Mintex. Not had a bad product from them yet.

A 500g tin of Granville ceramic brake grease for pad installation or a small tub of something like Ceratec.

I've been using Juratek quite a lot lately and I've not had any drama. Every one I've fitted appears to be very well made, appear to be British and their head office is in Doncaster. So, if you want to throw stones through their window you don't have to go far.

I can only comment on the experience I had of fitting them.

For me, its Blueprint every time if I can get them, but the motor factors are all over the place just now
Febi are good too.
There’s a huge range out there, all fit well enough but after a year or so of corrosion you can tell which are best!

Blue Print and Febi are two labels from Bilstein Group.

I've used BP brakes and filters and can't fault them although the oil filter I got had the Bosch logo on so out of a Mann Filters factory. The BP fuel filter I got looked identical to the Hengst equivalent.

If its any use on BluePrint, Simply Car Parts sell that brand and one of the reps from BilsteinGroup confirmed that they do supply Simply Car Parts.

To quote from an email "I know Paul at Simply very well, and he does purchase direct through ourselves here."

I got a set of BP filters from Simply Car Parts back in January to service a Fiesta TDCI.

Many thanks john burnerman and Diyspanner great help will order tomorrow Blueprint it is

If fitting BluePrint, part match with the BilsteinGroup online catalogue.
Select your car and you'll be given both BP and Febi options.

My tip is always part match with manufacturer's catalogue rather than the reseller.

Hi update
Excellent customer service plus partsfinder on their website( this was very usefull for me as there was 2 varients)
Paul@ simply was very helpful ordered tuesday after 4pm arrived friday ! Fitted next day! All good with BP ! Neighbour fitter
Also impressed with BP car drives well with new brakes bedding In ! Will definately use BP when i need rear replacements
All credit to John and DIYspanner! Thanks again
Take care and stay safe
Ps Fitter was kind enough to check& clean rear brakes also used copper grease on new brakes

All's well that ends well.

Something to consider for the next pads change. Ceramic brake grease rather than coppaslip which tends to dry and make the pads stick.
