Im purchasing some glue down LVT planks for my new kitchen. It will be stuck to a new SP101 timber floor.

The flooring company wanted around £50+ per tub for flooring adhesive.

I prefer to buy my own as I can usually get it for cheaper but was wondering if anyone could recommend a good value adhesive that would be suitable for LVT?

Thanks

JACK

I use Uzin KE66 which is approx £60 a tub. You used the correct plywood. Why not pay and use the the correct Adhesive. For the sake of maybe saving £10.

OK great thanks.

I will take a look.

Does the timber floor need to be primed before the adhesive is applied?

No mate. But it will need feather finish screed on the joints. how you fixing the plywood down.

I was going to screw down and as a belt and braces approach, considering to apply a bead of ashesive along joists.
