Texecom Odyssey X cover WDB-003 / WDB-006 White comfort LED's

Recently my friend purchased a Texecom Odyssey X-B external sounder and wanted a Black frame, white lens cover WDB-006 as they want the white comfort LED's.

When ordering the sounder, the cover was not in stock and we were offered WDB-004 instead as we were informed the comfort lights and strobe don't show through the WDB-006 very well.

Does anybody have a WDB-006 cover on their backlit x1 or x3 sounder and how well do the comfort LED's show up during daylight and at night? Does the WDB-006 and or the WDB-003 look a lot better on the Odyssey X instead of the X-B?

No idea we use white/blue or black/blue as a rule. the lens are much easier to see the LED's than the old Odysset 1 and 3 range that's for sure.
