Does anybody know, what are supported IP-cameras on Honeywell TouchCenter Plus control panel? Is support only for Honeywell cameras, or OnVif in general? Youtube videos show interface for inputting IP-settings, ports, usernames etc, but camera discovery looks automatic? Did they include nasty proprietary thing in discovery process?

What does it actually say i the manual, never looked at one to be honest

Installation manual doesn't say anything about supported cameras, found an TouchCenter Plus brochure saying equIP-, HDZ- and Performance-series are supported. Will find out in few weeks and keep you informed, I have couple OnVif MileSights and HikVisions to test after installing the TC+

The manuals are pretty pants!

Using ONVIF/RTSP is possible, however somewhat limited due to the number of characters (23) that can be entered into the address field. For example; rtsp://192.168.1.100:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=1&unicast=true&proto=Onvif is just too long to fit. Oddly when using Honeywell cameras the field is automatically populated and avoids the character length issue.

All Honeywell "Performance" (Dahua OEM rebranded) cameras that I've tested work with automatic configuration. That said, the frame rate must be reduced to 5fps using CIF resolution for it to work reliably due to the low processing power. I also found that you need to wire Ethernet LAN connection rather than use WiFi WLAN for trouble free use.

With all of these limitations, the video streaming feature is rarely used. You're much better off viewing the cameras from a tablet.

Extract from the manual below.
The following cameras were tested and are supported:
Performance Series: HED1PR3, HED3PR3, H4D3PRV3, H4D3PRV2, HBD1PR1, HBD3PR1, HBD3PR2
EquIP Series S: HCW2S2X, H3D2S2X, H4D2S2X, H3D2SR2X, HCD2S2X, H3D3S2X, H4D3S2X, H3D3SR2X, HCD5S2X, H3D5S2X, H4D5S2X, H3D5SR2X, H2S1P6X, H2S2P6X, HBD2PR1X, H2D2PR1X and HVD3V8MPD
