Hi,

I'm adding to my system at home, and I've just got a couple of queries...

Firstly I've added a PowerRio in the Garage and the tampers (and Power faults) from this all show in Group A1 - is there a way to change this or are all 'system' tampers/faults fixed to A1?

Secondly I have a smoke cloak in the garage and I would like an output that follows the following logic.....

Output activates once an alarm is 'confirmed' (so 2 or more activations of different zones) AND there is subsequent movement on the DualTech that covers the SmokeCloak protected area.

Now I'm convinced this could be done with either Links or 'Assemble Zone' but not sure how.

Basically, I don't want the smoke cloak to activate on a confirmed alarm where the potential intruder is not in the protected room as it would be a waste.

TIA

Ian

Beam pair-zone? From the installation manual:
This function is only operational when two consecutively addressed zones programmed as Beam Pair are
open in the set condition; the activation is identical to the Intruder function. The system cannot set if a single
Beam Pair is open
.

Beam Pair zones must be consecutively addressed; the first Beam Pair zone must have an even
number address, the second Beam Pair must have the next address (an odd number). For example,
valid Beam Pair addresses are 1036 & 1037, 2018 & 2031 - in this case, RIO 202 has not been
connected, therefore zone 2031 is the next address to 2018.

All the smoke cloaks I’ve fitted require a dedicated detector wired to the smoke cloak plus an alarm input from the alarm panel to operate the unit .....never ever had a false activation ...
