I’m aware there is a garden section, but this in my humble opinion is kind of building related..... maybe
I’m planning a second 12’x8’ shiplap shed and having both as a workshop. Plan on insulating with 50mm of EPS between the framing then fixing OSB on the inside.
If I were to build the new shed to gold standards, working from the outside would go - shiplap, battens, breathable membrane, osb, stud work with insulation between, vcl, osb.
retrofitting insulation to my old shed is going to be trickier to adhere to this. What would be the problems with sticking 50mm EPS between the 2” studs right up against the outside shiplap, adding a VCL on the inside then OSB over the top. I’m doubting the shed would immediately explode, or disintegrate in 6 months, but is this proposal OKish?
