Galaxy Flex 20 Trigger Module

I've got a Galaxy Flex 20 with a trigger module and have noticed two terminals maked IN1 and IN2, but can't seem to find any infor or where to program them.

Anybody have any ideas.

A fired on facebook is working on integrating with Samsung smartthings and I am wondering if these could be used to set/part set the alarm or if they could be a 'zone' that can be triggered to sound the alarm

The trigger module is an output expander, so in1 and in2 connect to the op1 and op2 on the panel and the trigger module option in menu 51 is enabled to switch on the module. After that, the trigger module outputs are available. It's not very good though, as it's not great with noisy lines and the outputs aren't available for switching in the app. Can you provide a pointer to the Facebook discussions?

Ah so the white plug with four wires that go to the main board are in place of the screw terminals? I was hoping it was a separate 12v/gnd and two inputs

You've helped me before on this alarm and I am signed up to SelfMon. You've spoke to Steve Loveday about Smartthings integration on this forum. He has created a circuit using an Arduino board and a couple of relays. I saw you mentioned you are looking at your own integration and would be interested in your solution

Yes, the flying lead connects to the main PCB in +12V, 0V, OP1 and OP2. It then plugs into the trigger module. Once you enable the option in menu 51, the LED on the trigger module will illuminate and the bell and strobe output on the trigger module take over from the panel outputs. You also get the additional trigger outputs which can be 'linked' to any panel input or output.

I've created a new Facebook group for discussion on the home automation side using Galaxy control panels. I hope to get a group of like minded individuals together to disuss integrating the upcoming SelfMon 'Galaxy MQTT'module' various HA systems. Search facebook: selfmon home automation If there are any embedded 'c' developers interested, there's an opportunity to become involved at the firmware level. An NDA will be required for that part.

thanks, dug out the manual as I installed it about a year ago and had forgotten how I'd wired it. Its all working but looking at expanding the functionaliry.
