Newbie to Diy hence why that question so to try to get a nice finish once all work done.

As I am getting ready for DIY paint refresh of the full flat, it might be work to consider what to do with the woodchip wallpaper – top edge wall re lounge as well as Kitchen, hallway bathroom, and bedroom ceiling. (lucky lounge has flat ceiling! )

Taking it out is risky as it could be what hold the wall together – ok I am exaggerating but no one know what is under until taking it out.

Should I bother to plaster over / get someone to take it out and make it all smooth? Or should I just keep it easy and paint over?

Thanks
