Screw bit compatability question

Evening this is going to be a very basic question. I have some Spax 3.5x50 screws and it states the head type as Z2, in my selection of screw bits I have loads of PZ2. Are the PZ2 bits right for Z2 screws? They seem to fit perfectly but I dont understand what the "P" means.

Short for Pozi as in Pozi drive.
