Using tools but not for the purpose they were intended....

And in a work canteen about 25 years ago, a sandwich maker used the back of a spoon to spread the butter - incredibly fast, probably about a second to cover 2 slices of bread.
I remember my old man telling me that was how inmates used to spread butter - he was a psychiatric nurse and the immates of the hospital he worked at weren't allowed access to knives

When I started work in the days (just) before microwave ovens, some of the lads used to heat up pies at lunch time using the RF (radio frequency) glue curer.

Here's one I did earlier .... radiator bracket used to fix 2 joists together (all pro builders look away now!)
Handy that they are 30cm long, which is the space between the joists.
