Have been asked to glue down the edges of some vacuum filmed doors. Not sure what adhesive to use as the film is very stiff and has curled so will need heating to make it flexible.
I suppose something like the adhesive used on iron-on edging would do the job but not sure if it is available.
Has anyone got any experience of doing this or suggestions on what best to use.

No experience, but my kitchen has white high gloss (shaker style?) doors where the wrap seems to be coming away from the centre depression.
My intention is to use a vacuum bag so that it is held tight while the glue sets.
Don't know if that helps?

Smear contact adhesive in with cocktail stick, leave ten minutes then iron to close .

Smear contact adhesive on both surfaces, allow to become tacky then clamp together with a suitable strip of protective wood each end using sash cramps or a couple of windlasses. Allow to set for a few hours if possible before removing cramps.

Thanks for replies.
Think I'll try evostick + iron on a door that has de-laminated at the bottom - where it won't be seen if the iron shrinks the film. If it does shrink I'll use the sash cramps.
Will post back with the results in case it can help others.
