trying to find a connector to feed one end of an led 5ft t8 tube and i came across this gem!!
if anybody knows of a wireable end feed connector that is similiar to a b22 lamp connector ie the cable goes in the end opposite to the contacts that has t8 socket please let me know as so far i can only find ones with about 6 ins of cable attached

Back in the 60's when Bipin first came out you could get these

I used to work in a factory where several of the lights had been converted from bayonet tubes to bipin using those!
 
this is the sort of thing I need, but all the ones i can find have a very short cable. it it would be nice if someone did one that you could wire ourselves with any length of cables-l1600.jpg

You could extend the cable. Soldering iron and heat shrink sleeving required.

As an apprentice in the mid 80s I worked in a mill that had old flu fittings with BC connectors.
