Hi
I have used a Kewtech KT35 to find insulation resistance of new 1.5mm cable. The values at 250, 500 and 1000V appear to be in excess of 2000 mega ohms i.e the upper limit of the instrument. Would these values be normal?

Thanks

Yes.

Were you expecting something different?

Kind Regards, John

Thanks for your reply John. I was in fact expecting a very high value but all the emphasis is usually on the lower end so I was finding it difficult to get info about possible upper values. Many thanks.
