London Town, Ghost Town

your materials are £50+ with a standard panel door. thats without your fuel mot fetching and carrying. your on less than £100 for a job that could turn into a 2-3 day nightmare. not to mention making up skirting cutting thresholds, carpets etc. your too cheap.
Yes I was wondering the same thing, but I guess Johnny was talking about a straightforward swap.

I will tell that to my customers.

No, i forgot to mention that the price didn't include door, frame, architrave and hardware.
In other words i only include fixings, adhesive, nails and small things needed.

Am I still too cheap???

Am I still too cheap???

phew. sounds better!

I'm moving to wales then.
I would probably be able to buy a castle in a couple of years considering that houses go for £66k.
plus £8500 deposit , that’s 74500.don’t doubt me, look for yourself. plenty of terraces or ex local authority semis at that price in decent areas with 3 beds and large gardens.

is this pvc, you should be able to get a decent pvc installer to supply and fit for around that price?
Haven't decided between plastic or wood yet. I want wood but other half doesn't. (Wood I think suits our Victorian cottage). We've decided to do it ourselves because of the quotes.. well, I've elected other half to do it :) :)

We had our front door done last year coz of the p-heads who kicked in in. Luckily on insurance because was 1.5k for a half decent composite and frame.

£74500 around me will probably buy a garage, maybe.
One bedroom flats in shythole areas go for £250k.

£500???
WHAT???
I'm not talking about a cathedral door, I'm talking about a standard 30" internal door.
