What Bosch Maxx 6 Washing Machine Fault Code Is This?

I have a ‘Bosch’ “Maxx 6” washing machine, Model (E-Nr.) number: WAE24064GB/30 FD 9412 606416.

It seems to have failed. When I try to start the machine washing nothing moves and there is no sound from the machine.

For example, if I turn the Program Selector to [40o]. Then press the “Start” button. The “Start” indicator light and the “Wash” indicator illuminate. The washing machine does not do anything (no movement or sound). About 30 seconds later the “Start” indicator light extinguishes and both the “Rinse” and the “Wash” indicators flash.

Can anyone suggest what problem this is intended to indicate?

I can't find any flashing led codes for your machine but those lights when lit permanently suggest a water inlet fault. I would also suggest checking the motor brushes as they cause some weird faults on Bosch machines when worn down.

The door was not locking. It was latching but not locking.

So I took a chance and fitted a new door lock module, on the basis that the outlay of £20 might save the cost of a new machine.

And now have an operational machine again.
