I had a power outage last night whilst the alarm was in armed mode. I noticed it this morning when I went to disarm the alarm and the display read "Power O/P Fault System 12v".

Questions please:
1. If the power cut was 10 minutes, would the alarm have automatically reverted back to mains power on restoration of power or does it stay on battery for some time or require some intervention?
2. It was helpful to note that there was a power cut overnight. Would this always be displayed or does the power cut need to be a certain duration e.g. more than a minute, etc.
3. Finally, would "Power O/P Fault System 12v" be displayed if the system was not in armed mode?

Thanks in advance.

@Serg that is the delay only

Monitor hardware you can turn off the monitoring of these,I wouldn't normally recommend turning them off, but you may want to or the service tone if the beeping is annyoning you. (from your threads i see your getting a lot of power cuts recently)

Is the consensus that my system should automatically detect and notify me via the display if there is a power cut of any duration - irrespective of whether its in an armed state or not?

My system isn't doing this as my village had a 30 second power outage this morning (yes, this is becoming an absolute joke!) when the alarm was in an unarmed state and nothing was reported on my keypad display. Do I need to change a setting?

Thanks for your help.

No mains fail will only show if the failure exceeds the AC delay timer.

There are a serious of faults associated with ac mains fail, not sure how it is covered in the manual
