Putting block paving back ?

Your work is atrocious,if you charge people for this standard of work you're nothing more than a rogue trader.
Think it's time you gave up the tools, and stop ripping people off.(n)

The OP said it was done as a favour, I guess it's a bit better than it was.

Not only this job,his last decking job was 250mm out off square alone, he has also posted under different names for a few years, all stupid questions too, infact if you look at related posts at bottom of this page 3 of his names appear, see if you can spot them.

Regarding the decking job. My mate was levelling the blocks . I told him the diagonals must be the same length. He said it was such a hassle getting them level that he didn't care about the diagonal length

Maybe, but for ones own pride you should try to do the best job you can regardless of whether someone is ok with bodgery. I.e. you should have insisted it was done properly.

Jesus Christ.

On your first picture the blocks were positioned as they were when the driveway was first done.

All you had to do was put them to one side and put them back as they were and it would have looked neat.

So you mate is worse than you.................................:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Yep. His decking though; and I told him all of this - measure diagonals. The blocks were a pain to get level though. Took him hours. He wants me to rip a piece of decking to finish off

Is it that easy? The whole drive has moved. A mate said they would never have gone back perfectly because all the blocks on whole drive have moved since it was put in years ago. Maybe you're right, I don't know, first time I've done any block paving.
Anyhow, old dear is happy. Better than it was.
