By default, does the Texecom Elite system automatically rearm itself once it has gone off and how long would the internal siren go off for, before it is back in armed mode?

I am away on holiday and was alerted by my dialler. I checked my CCTV and am satisfied that’s it’s all clear but wanted to make sure it’s armed again to continue providing security.

I’m also sparing a thought for my neighbours who may be able to hear the internal siren!!

I don’t have the remote connect installed on my system.

Default rearm is 3 unless you have changed it. After 3 false alarms the system lock out.

Default bell sounder 15 minutes unless you have changed it.
STROBE will continually flash until system reset.
Internal sounder will sound until system reset.

Thanks for this. After how many minutes does it re-arm? And does the internal sounder not stop when it does rearm?

Previously I’ve been home after the alarms has gone off and the sounder has been silent.

when a sensor goes active it is usually followed by a restore event, thats the device rearmed.

the rearm count is not the alarm system being rearmed its the zone.

The idea is if a zone goes faulty during a single arming period that zone locks out the rest of the system should still work.

the internal sounder (speaker) doesnt have a cut off from memory and is reset only when the code is entered, the external bell does have a cut off of 15 minutes due noise nuisance issues.

Ok. So does the 3-strike-out apply at a zone level? Therefore, all other zones and my alarm remains active despite three false alarms on a given zone?

It probably does as when I got home (2 days later) the sounder was silent. The same happened previously.

yes its per zone not the alarm system. You should see in the event log zone x locked out following x number of activations.

bell SAB or bell SCB follow the programed bell global or bell area timers depending on panel following area or global bell timers unless wireless and the wireless bell has the option for 3 minutes and 15 mins I think of top of my head.

The panel speaker or keypad (from memory and haven't verified) however follows the panels condition, ie alarm, just had a quick look in the manual but couldn't see anything to suggest which timer it follows if any. Been a long time since I sat down and timed things out to be fair.
