it’s only an organisation on the surface.
underneath it’s made up of privileged individuals all with their own beliefs and agendas.

I think you will find that the BBC is pretty much there already.

Apparently they are over-repetesentative of the LGBQTXYZ community but I suppose that is to be expected in show business.
 
I am appalled at the Indianization of BBC.
They interviewed an actress the other day about some upcoming movie that she starrs in. When the actor Irfan Khan ( a Bollywood B grade actor ) died, this made the 10'o clock news!

And, just to be clear, I have Indian roots.

I also don't like how the newsreaders wear whatever they like and turn up on set. In the past, they would dress formally.

So you recognise the BBC as a broad church, all contributing their own opinions to achieve the overall objective of the organisation?

Or are you suggesting that there are dominant cultures within organisations that socialise new entrants into that dominant culture, and eventually drive away any that fail to submit to the dominant culture?

Which view of the BBC as an organisation do you prefer? A conglomerate of individual opinions providing a fair cross-sectional view, or a sect of individuals submitting to the dominant culture?

A preconceived idea of someone's attitude and behaviour is only formed without observation or knowledge of their previous behaviour. A preconceived opinion is only formed out of imagination and prejudice.

You appear to be under the illusion that having a preconceived idea of someone's attitude, is similar to observing someone's attitude on numerous occasion and being able to approximately predict their reaction to a situation.

so an individual can form prejudice from their imagination and with no knowledge or observation of someones previous behaviours?

As the years have gone by, I've gone from radio 1 to 2, as I started to dislike the music and some of the presenters. just annoying and fake OTT chirpy on radio 1. Now I'm finding radio 2 annoying at times and going to radio 4...

Old age is creeping up! :) :)
