Hi all , I recently helped a friend install 3 cameras and a Hilook 104g (blue white menu's). Everything's working bar the remote access via mobile phone.
I own the older Hiwatch 104g (black menu's) and tbh on Virgin port forwarding was quite easy. I then use either iVMS 4500 app or Hik Connect on mine and my wifes phones.

He's DVR software is newer with a different layout. On my Virgin hub I open port 8000 TCP & DHP make the DVR a static IP and manually enter my IP dvr's details that's it port opens apps work.

My Virgin hub IP hasn't changed in 5 years so manual entering my IP address was easiest way for me and the wife's phones, well easiest for me and my knowledge.
But my friends DVR is just not showing up on his mobile phone.

He has a Talk Talk Sagemcom Fast 5364 hub and his hub IP has changed 3 times in as many days. So setting it like I do manually is not possible due this.

The QR code in his DVR links you to Hilookvision app (blue) but even though you link the DVR while at his home you get a connection but a error on playback.
The last error on his phone on a camera on full screen said 330800 but Google gave me nothing back.
We did at one stage get it working but only in his WiFi as soon as you turned your phone WiFi and went on data it stopped.

His dvr connects to the internet I'm sure of that and I checked the 4 ports online which all say open. Talk Talk have been no use as an ornament so he desperately needs someone who's converse with the app and Talk Talk and his hub rules etc...

I've opened all 4 ports all on TCP only 8000 80 554 443 but still we cannot get it to play off his WiFi.
I've lowered his firewall and changed the stream quality but I'm thinking, I never had to do this with mine.
Can someone please give me some advise on how he sets up multiple phones using the Hilookvision app and the newer Hilook 104g as it's driving ,,,,,sorry, drove me bonkers. Manually entering details is not possible due to his IP constantly changing

As you have discovered, TalkTalk (and pretty much all other residential broadband providers) have a dynamic external IP, so it's not worth even trying to connect this way. One thing to check before you proceed is that you have a valid gateway and DNS address in the network settings for the DVR.

As you have opened the ports on the router already (you only need 8000 and 554 for app access) you have a couple of options. Within the Hilook app, if you go to the settings area for the DVR, there is an option called "Configure DDNS". Just enter the port details and a user name and password for the DVR and you will be able to connect using Hikvisions' own DDNS service.

Failing that, you can set up a DDNS in the TalkTalk router. I've used a free service called Duck DNS a few times with great effect on TT routers. Pretty straightforward to setup, there's loads of info online about doing this.

Thanks for the reply, after numourous calls to the provider Talk Talk on behalf I finally got the to work using the hiklookvision app.

I kept asking Talk Talk :"Do you have any kind of firewall or netsafe or anything that could be interfering with my set up"
They just kept saying no. On the 4th call the lady out me on hold twice and the 2nd time I magically watched both my mobile and the customers tablet suddenly start to broadcast live stream.
I asked Talk Talk, : "What have you done !? It's working"
There reply was :" Nothing I just checked the line which was utter utter utter rubbish.
Frustration isn't the word
