I live in a semi bungalow late 60s build.
Water is dripping down rear small bedroom light fitting, which I have made safe.
I cannot see any roof damage on the outside but in the loft above the area where the light fitting is the felt has dropped away, every where else it looks normal.
Where the underside of the tiles is exposed I can see a purlin that looks wet.
I have attached photos of inside and outside for you to view.
Thanks.

Possible moss holding like a sponge and dripping through where the felt has come away.

This is a roofing question, i'll ask mods to move it for more replies.

Mods move to roofing please?

Whatever the cause of the leak you need someone on the roof to lift all the tiles in that area and then to re-felt and re-tile.
Who posted the "Dangerous Condition" notice in the loft?

Sort the felt out
I have been up on my ladder and looked as closely as I can and the tiles all seem good and in position.
Could it be that as suggested it is simply the moss and the fact that a section of felt is dislodged the leak happens.
Sorry for my delay of response to all reply's but I have not had any auto notifications.

The notice in loft was placed there by insulation installers.

No, all concrete interlocking tiles let some water through.

Yes, moss can lift an interlock, or divert water, but cleaning moss every 12 months or so is not a remedy.

The felt needs replacing.
