Shower waste, air lock when draining

Hello,
I am new to the forum and I like doing DIY around the house. Recently I have been looking at my shower..About two years ago we redone the upstairs bathroom and moved the shower from the place it was originally, it is now about 3m from the nearest foul pipe.
The spigot was as well removed and an air admittance valve installed instead.
The plumber did run a 40mm pipe between the beams but could only give limited tilt.
The shower was always smelly and slow draining so I opened up to have a look.

I changed the waste with a McAlpine grille 70mm high high flow waste and reconnected to the original flexipipe 40mm, I also made sure that the pipe was going down all the way (before it was going down, then up, then down again.
Now the draining is MUCH faster but I get an air lock.

Whever i start a shower the water pools up until i raise slightly the grille and lot of bubbles come out. Then it drains wonderfully.

Is there anything I can do to make it "do this on his own" i mean it is very annoying that the shower doesn't properly drain until the grille is raised to allow the air to escape.

Any suggestion?
Many thanks

What do you mean by " the spigot was as well removed and an air admittance valve installed instead" ??

The shower + bath tubs are both draining with a 40mm pipe into the toilet pipe. Originally at the corner there was a vertical pipe going to the roof, the spigot, for venting out. It was removed to get some space in the toilet, and replaced with an air admittance valve.

Temporarily remove the air admittance valve from the top of the soil pipe ( I assume it is in the attic space) ,run the shower and see if it makes a difference.

Hello
That is not possible. The air admittance valve is in the inter floor space. I'd have to remove the bath tub, the flooring and the floorboards to get to it. The bath and the sink work fine as well as the toilet, the real issue is the shower (its also the farthest).

Is the AAV on top of the stack that all the bathroom items feed into and that AAV is under the bathroom floor? The top of the stack and therefore the AAV isn't above the level of the basin?

Is it a class A1?

The aav is on top of the stack and under the bathroom floor. Correct is below the basin.
What is a class A1?

It's a white valve with a spring loaded membrane that opens when the toilet is flushed. I've no gurgling from toilet or sink..
I think it is an hunters brand one..

Get rid of that flexi and use fittings, your AAV is in the wrong place as well.

I can't get rid of the flexi, there are small boards on the way and there is no clear way to reach the pipe with fittings. I also cannot do much in regards to the AAV, I did not install it and to and see it I have to dismantle the whole bathroom.
I'll call a plumber and see if he has any other idea, I've done everything I could..
