Kitchen hobs and ovens running off a 13amp socket advice

Having a plan drawn up for a new kitchen and the designer has said that a lot of people now have Hobs or ovens (sorry can’t remember what he said exactly) have them plugged into a 13amp outlet,
Advice please

Depends on the appliances kilowatt rating. Some can be plugged in ,and some draw higher current and have to be hard wired into dedicated " cooker" circuits.
 
Oven would usually be 13amp but standard hobs would require 30A/45A hardwire connection.

There are exception but I supposed you wont be able to have full power from all cooking zones at the same time.
