Even the Spectator putting the knife into Bojo?

I am no fan of Gove but he's sharp and would enjoy the jousting with Keir at PMQs.

Gove 2021

This is the Spectator whose editor is the wife of Cummings. Is something brewing?

They're softening up the Brexers for the day the tory assassins tell him to spend more time with his family.

Murdoch has always wanted Gove as PM.

Gove 2021

I'm not sure that would change anything, unless the policies themselves change.

No matter how sharp the pm is, anyone of the background of Starmer will pull apart the underlying shambles with ease.

Well I still think Gove would lead better than Bojo. I was not a fan of Gove education reforms - I understood his sentiment but disagreed with his policy prescription.

Commentators have felt for a while that Sunak, if not PM material at the mo, IS nevertheless immune to Cummings' control. Push that a bit further, if the gaffes keep coming from No 10, and Sunak COULD be Cummings' eventual assassin.

no to gove, yes to Sunak

Sunak is currently popular because it's temporarily his job to stand on a street corner handing out bags of money.

He is aware that taxes will shortly increase to claw it back.

This will reverse his popularity.

Remember that, despite inexperience, he got the job because the previous incumbent was thrown out (see my post #8 above)

This was carnage. Three direct hits from Sir Keir. And three strikes from the Speaker.

This isn't leadership anymore, Bojo is drowning in his own waffle.

Pretty feeble from Bojo, it seems if nothing else works just try reference Brexit.

I watched PMQ live yesterday, it was great TV. Great to see Starmer ripping him apart. Might start watching it every week!

If the Tories lead by Boris win the next election, there really is no hope left for this country.

If the idiot trump gets in in November there may not be a country for the idiot johnson to lead.

I am no fan of Trump or Biden. But if Trump wins then it's a clear shot 2024 for Gavin Newsom. The US flips from 2 terms of Republican and then 2 terms of Democrat. However Trump will do lasting damage to the US Judiciary and by weakening the checks and balances on a President.
