I just did my soil stack and to my dismay where the 40mm pipe joins the 110 soil stack with a strap boss, there is a very tiny leak on the underside where the strap boss connects to the 110 pipe.

I did scratch up both surfaces and used adequate solvent weld glue, so not sure why this happened.

Can it be fixed somehow? It would be a nightmare to get it all off

I know it's messy, I tried to get a little more solvent glue in at the end which was stupid!

It's quite expensive that stuff with delivery!

Would it be pointless to dab it with solvent glue a few times in that area? It must be the tiniest little gap, as its just a drip every so often.

I know, it looks bad! But it's sort of high up, so luckily not something most people would notice I hope!

Yes, dab with glue(y) can you get the pipe out and dab inside with a gloved finger ?

Ah good idea. Yes I could actually as I didnt glue the other end yet. But I think the inside has a rim on it, so I dont think I can get to the part where its leaking or anywhere to make a seal. I'll have to look
