Capping 10mm plastic rad pipes

I want to remove a radiator in my house and cap off the pipes. They are 10mm plastic pipes. What do I need to cap them? Is it just JG speedfit 10mm stop ends and inserts (I have no idea what make the pipe is)? Also can I cut and cap it without draining the whole system?

Yes, if it's plastic then JG or HEP would probably do it, just use their own inserts and keep an eye on them when you refill the system.

As far as draining the system, if it is a sealed system then you would probably get away with isolation each radiator at both ends and then just de-pressurise the system, you will lose some water but it shouldn't be a large amount.

Thanks. Just checked and the pipes are Osmagold. Do I need the same make stop ends?

Do you have osma gold fittings on your system too ? possibly the worst fittings ever produced

Presume so. House has had them fitted for nearly 15 years so seem to be holding up ok. What brand stop ends can I use to just cap the pipes off? Thanks.
