Best Waterpoof Sealant & Adhesive

Can anyone recommend the best waterpoof sealant and adhesive?

Reading up the best ones are Polymer based but looking at Toolstation and Screwfix there are so many different products - I really need it for some work in and around bathroom / shower.

Geocell 201 is a polymer and I,ve yet to find something it won't stick.

I have used Flexacryl on lead guttering around our conservatory. The guttering (L-shaped) is in five sections with overlaps. In the summer the lead expands; in the winter it contracts and that is when we get water leaking in, presumably where small gaps open up. The Flexacryl is permanently flexible and - so far - has managed to prevent any leakage, though I repaint it every autumn.
