Thought I’d revamp my flat garage roof as it’s looking a tad tired, there are no leaks, so hopefully giving it a makeover will prevent this (for now anyway).
After purchasing Acrypol I ended up returning as I was not aware this stuff remains tacky.
The roof is walked on several times a year to brush off leaves and clean a gable end window, other than that no one goes on there, but I had visions of any footwear sticking to the stuff and then treading everywhere once I came down off the roof.
I’ve since looked at other products but they all seem to be the same in staying tacky.
My question, is there a waterproof paint on product anyone knows off that dries properly once finished ?
Or, am I over imagining how tacky these products remain ?
I’d like to do this before winter sets in so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Acrypol dries, it will remain tacky longer in damp humid weather.

See "fixmyroof" vids on youtube.

There are various concoctions that would probably do the job but without seeing a few pics of your flat roof i'd hesitate to recom any.
