I want to join a downpipe that runs with only a slight fall, ie pretty much horizontally, to a vertical downpipe.
I thought I could just do this with a branch and some kind of offset, but looks like I need branch, 112degree offset, and a 92degreee bend? Which also looks a bit pants. Pic attached
And yes I’m embarrassed to be asking

What are you connecting in to that 90° bend?

Why can you just extend the branch and use another 112° bend?

A horizontal run parallel ish to the dpc line.
Done it now anyway like that. I can’t just use another 112 offset as it then points downwards. Not like a pair of 45 bends which don’t appear to exist for rainwater

surely you can lose the 90, just put the offset nearer to the fence
That’s what I thought I could do but it doesn’t end up horizontal. It ends up pointing down as it’s too much of an angle on the offset.

Yeah not ideal but had to bring it a few meters along wall at low level.

still looks like the 90 can go... off set moved closer to the fence with a straight piece of pipe connecting on an angle.. Looks like blockages waiting to happen

Cut a couple of inches off the bottom of the branch if you need a bit more fall.

Branch -> pipe -> offset bend doesn’t get you horizontal. Gets you pointing back downwards again. Unless I’m being very thick
Catlad I don’t need any more fall, it’s just a horizontal run that needs to join the vertical
Anyone who can photo how this should have been done with less fittings wins this thread ;)

Why does it need to be horizontal?
It'll block .

It looks a total mess

It’s horizontal (with a fall obviously) because it’s gotta go under windows so runs low level.
I’d love to make the junction look better (without altering the rest of the pipes) if anyone knows how ;)

Put the offset next to the fence..
At least it will look like an adult did it..
