Single full height cupboard door handle with latch

Hello, I need a single sided handle for a cupboard door that works with a latch but everything I can find comes as a pair of handles with handles for both sides of the door. The inside handle is securing the bolt bar to enable the handle to actually turn. Is there such a thing as a single sided handle that I can use with a latch (rather than a knob that I just pull) with a blanking plate on the rear so that I don't have to fit the second handle inside the cupboard. Or even better a blanking plate that I can buy on its own to secure the bar on the inside of the door. The joiner has fitted the handles and latch and realised afterwards that the handle is catching on a shelf inside the cupboard. Hope that makes sense.

Anyone know what it is I need?

Why not fix the outer handle without any bar and replace the latch with a ball catch?
