Hi, I've searched the forum and couldnt see this being asked before. I'm wondering what's the best way to strip back the PVC coating on a 10mm copper pipe, for soldering and visible sections into rad valves?

Thanks in advance

It's stuck to the pipe pretty firmly but will give it go! Should I run a pipe cutter round the outer edge gently a few times as well?

You can try pipe cutter or wire strippers.
Maybe try heating it as well. Just got to adapt and overcome really, same as getting oil paint off pipes. Shave it with blade and use edge of blade to scrape of remnants, then abrasive.

Flat blade and slice down the side to as far as you need and then run the blade round it and it should just pop off. It shouldn't be stuck to the pipe.

Thank you, I gave it a go and it came off nicely (y)
