Ok, so I’ve narrowed my boiler search down...

1. Worcester combi 8000 style 35kw £3900
2. Worcester 440cdi storage combi £4600
3. Viessmann 111-W 35kw storage combi £4000

Please nobody give me any other options as this boiler-thing is doing my head in! I’m like a kid in a sweetie shop with 50p to spend

What would you pick? Best bang for buck?

Thanks!
Rich

If ( when ) I need a new boiler then it will not be a combi and if Johnson and Starley have a suitable boiler ( circa 16 kW heat only ) then that would be my choice ( based on 9 years with my J&S Reno 16 )

Eugh, not exactly great options. The Viessmann if you really must, but I wouldn't actually want any of them

You haven't told us your requirements, so who knows what will meet them?

4 bed detached, 2 bathrooms, wife & 3 boys under 12. Swapping out old 33 year old gravity ideal Mexico super rs80.

two bathrooms, four people. And presumably you currently have a hot-water cylinder?

How much incoming water flow do you get?

5 people - me as well .
I reckon incoming flow is 16-17litres/min roughly.

Yes, currently original 33year old hot water cylinder - happy to get rid.

How did you decide against an unvented cylinder?
