Rule of 6, we're all in this together.

I'm going to organise a debating competition* between some people who just happen to be related to me. There might be 12 of us meeting indoors, but it's a formal competition so it seems ok.

Unfortunately not, as the requirement is licenced and outdoors.

Unlikely to do that in close proximity to anyone, let alone five of the boogers.....
That's why it is allowed, along with shooting, only a klutz would think about firing shotguns in close proximity to others, such as in their back garden. Part of dealing with this scare is to be sensible, something a lot of people have difficulty with.

I understood that to be the rationale too.

Quite: I am surprised that someone isn't asking if (in light of Rule of Six) they're still allowed to participate in something like coxless pairs rowing.........

Where is this exempt list? I haven't found a link anywhere.

Shooting seems like an odd choice. It's not exactly physically demanding.

It's because it's a hoy polloy "sport" and all tories are hoy polloy although I will concede that some tories like to think they are hoy polloy when they are not.

That it's irrelevant to say that a license is needed as other items that are allowed don't require licenses.

What other items? Where are you getting this list from?

There is no list. It's just whatever a child decides is allowed. Right?

No, not "right".

If you give some examples of these "other items" of which you post, I can see whether they appear justified, or are made-up cobblers.

The shoot I help put on is going ahead in October. Mind you, I won’t be travelling in the beater trailer and I’ll take my own food and drink.
