Plumbing under the kitchen sink

in the void . with a 75mm hole in the back panel. i’ve never heard of anyone with a rising main inside the unit.
also drain valves here are pointless. just open a tap to let what’s above out, if you need to ,and fit isolators on your hot and colds to service the taps.

.... always start sentences with capital letters. Wouldn't trust a plasterer with plumbing(y)
there’s no need for a strop because i can do your job but you can’t do mine.
it’s just my opinion , and clearly true, as i hit a nervE.

if plumbers hate it so much when grannys can do it why do they make it so easy?

What have clouds and plasterers got in common ?

Made a start on this yesterday...
I soldered some elbows onto these pipes to bring them out and eventually through the base of the unit.

The joints to the existing pipes were the most difficult. I cleaned and fluxed them. There was some water in them which I tried to reduce as best as I could but I couldn’t see a way of draining this entirely.

My solder wasn’t taking to it. Eventually manage to do it. Any advice on what was happening and how I should deal with such a situation in the future?
