Whats happened? Have you dug them all up?
I was referring to the three patches of bird feathers where something has had a bird. I suspect a cat is waiting and pouncing on wood pigeons in that bed. I’ve dug up all the spuds on the right hand side of that bed and just let the butternut squash take over. A few rogue weeds in the left hand side of the bed but still have three rows of spuds to dig up. I’m leaving them until I need them. (y)

Ah right. Never noticed the feathers to be honest, just the bare ground.

I strung a web of string over my lawn a few weeks ago to protect some new grass seed I had put down. Went away for a few days and when I came back there was a pile of feathers amongst the string. Don't know if a bird got trapped in the string and a cat or fox got it but there were no bones or carcase lying around.

I've seen this man walking his two dogs every time I've gone to the supermarket since lockdown. Always makes me smile - he'd be hard pushed to get a bigger or smaller dog if he tried. :)

I didn’t take this picture, my daughter did and has just sent it to me. Her boyfriend found this crab in the car park to their flat. They live in North London! Their flat is on the edge of a canal but as far as I know, crabs are salt water creatures aren’t they?
