8XE Expander on Elite 24, programming with wintex?

Hi, i have just installed an 8XE expander (direct plug onto the pcb).

Have wired an additional 3 zones onto it.

How do i now set it up in wintex?
when i click on zones i see zones 1-8 with location as Panel, but then 9-24 is "N1 E1 Z1" etc

If i use the keypad and view zone status it shows me 1-16 but 9 onwards is listed as tamper, so i think it is seeing the expander connected but i cant figure out how to see it in wintex.

Please advise.

Program spare zones
Programming sometimes shows tamper on zones not used in programming. You could put 2.2k resistor in spare zone and tamper will disappear

zones not used that exist will show as tamper in wintex, if they are not used, as long as they are programed as not used it doesnt affect the panels function/
