Hi i am concentrating around the front section of the house at the moment and this involves the doorbell. I am personally happy with a standard ding dong but the boss wants a ring.

I am pulling cables to the property entrance at the moment for alarm & cctv installs so i will go with a hard wired bell option so i don't have to mess around with it ever again.

Looking on their website there is the Pro and Elite option. From what i can make out the only difference is that the elite is POE and £150 more. What purpose does this model have over the Pro. Given the price difference i guess the Pro is the way forward for my needs?

The main reason for my lack of enthusiasm with the ring bells is that the "Bell" is very quiet and slow in chiming. Are there any options for a powerful ding dong to be connected to the Pro or Elite

I have the Ring pro (powered by a doorbell transformer). My property came with a standard "ding dong" mains door bell so i upgraded to the Ring and although you get the little plug in repeater that makes the "dum dum dum" ring sound (which is quite responsive) my original loud "ding dong" box on the wall still does the "ding dong" as it did with the original button outside. I hope this helps.

I would really like to have this set up at mine but cant find anything to show me how to set it up. Seems to be common in the US but apparently they use different chimes. Any ideas

We have the plug in ring chime as well as a notification on two iPhones and two iPads. That’s more than enough for us. My son has also set his tv to automatically show the caller on his TV via his Alexa.
