Hopefully this is a simple and common problem asked by many amateurs such as myself.....
I have screwed a ZXtech camera to an external wall and now want to connect the ethernet poe cable to it which I've pulled through into the house. As the ethernet poe cable has connections on both ends I'm unable to fit the waterproof shroud to the connection without snipping a connector off one end. How do you get around this? Is there such a thing a split waterproof shroud connector available so that the poe cable can remain itact?? Alternatively, do you have to snip off one of the ethernet plugs and reattach it later, something I would guess is a bit difficult.

Hope this makes sense as its hard to describe.
thanks in advance

As long as you have crimping tool or use tool less connector.
Stand off base for camera to put connectors in or adaptable waterproof box.
Bigger hole through wall /soffit to get existing connection through

An alternative method of waterproofing is to wrap the coonected joint with electicians self amalgamating tape which is something I have done successfully.

You will also be able to obtain this tape in an electrical wholesalers.

I would cut it off and remake, the crimping tool is not expensive and the ends cheap as chips
