We've just laid a wet room shower tray former (30mm) thick direct to joists as specified. Unfortunately the floor around it isn't quite level which is a suspended floor again with UFH and overlaid in 6mm plywood (glued & screwed).
To bring the floor level with the shower tray (which is higher), we need to build up the floor higher in certain areas but not others. As an example, the floor is out by as much as 15mm on one end of the shower tray but nearly level on the other.
This means I can't overlay the floor with more ply so was thinking a latex screed or similar?
A self levelling screed wouldn't really work as it will self level the wrong way. Its also probably too much to build up with tile adhesive on top of the ply.
