Hi,

My phone socket recently came off second best in a fight with a pram.

There was a double adapter with a wire going into it (orange on the pic).

The 2 standard phone line plugs went into the adapter (green and blue) with the adapter going into the wall socket (pink).

I can find standard double adapters but nothing which can take the (orange) wire into into.

Can anyone help with what I should be looking for, please?

Thanks very much.

The double-adapters-with-wire are part of manufactured extension leads. There's a one-socket one here but you will need to be able to solder.

If that's not a master socket you could replace it with a junction box and an adjacent socket if needed. If it is a master socket I'd replace it with a flush mounted NTE with filtered faceplate and properly wired extensions.

Think that’s a sky phone adaptor ( when you used to have the sky box plugged into phone for the pay per view stuff) ....got a bag of them somewhere .... will dig one out tomorrow ...

Looking at that picture only the blue pair was connected anyway ....others look chopped off and you can see the IDC marks on the blue pair ..
