I have removed a section of solid wall and need to make it good. How do i get a nice flat solid end to it that i can then fix back to. Sheet of timber then pack with concrete?

That's not a supporting wall you have just knocked down is it?

Are you doing this as a job for somebody else?

Yes it is. But I installed steels prior to removing the wall for obvious reasons. It is my place.

I would plug and screw battens to the end of the exposed bricks, packing them out to make level. Then screw pb over the top.

Or just apply plenty of big lumps of gobbo pb adhesive, then board.

If you use battens then you will have a solid surface to fix the pb to on the corner for the returning face of exposed bricks.

Or again just pack the corner with more PB adhesive to make sure its solid when boarding the return.
