Can anyone tell me what's going wrong here please? I have a feed into my shed with a simple little "garage consumer unit" on the wall... The type you get from Screwfix etc. There are 4 sockets running out of the 32A MCB (not shown on my drawing) and a single pendant light hanging in the middle of the shed operated from a PIR on the 6A MCB. It was all installed and signed off by a professional electrician.
All I'm trying to do is replace the pendant light with a 5ft LED strip light. I removed the old light, installed the new tube and now the 6A MCB trips when I try to turn it on. After some internet research leading to possible inrush current problems and some suggested that a Type C MCB can solve the problem... I've now tried that but it still trips. Wiring diagram attached.
I'm completely at a loss as to what to do/try next?! Maybe just resort to a traditional tube instead I guess?!?!
Thanks in advance...
PS I should also say that I've checked the PIR and it states it is suitable for LED use... I've also bypassed the PIR and the same problem still occurs...
